Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Pinvale, operated by Mesquite Dev LLC, is committed to making the Service usable by people with the widest range of abilities. We aim to meet the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA and to remediate gaps as we find them.

Conformance status

The Service is partially conformantwith WCAG 2.2 AA at the date of this statement. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard.

The Service is built on accessible foundations:

  • interactive primitives (dialogs, dropdowns, comboboxes, date pickers) use the Radix UI library, which ships with keyboard navigation, ARIA attributes, and focus management out of the box;
  • color tokens are defined for light, dark, and system themes with contrast targets aligned to WCAG;
  • motion-heavy animations respect prefers-reduced-motion;
  • all interactive controls are reachable by keyboard with a visible focus indicator;
  • the lead-capture forms ship with form labels and required-field markers.

Known limitations

We are working through the following known issues:

  • Map view (drag-and-drop, pinch-zoom): the map surface uses pointer-driven interactions for panning and zooming. Keyboard-only users can still see and filter pins from the lead list, but cannot pan the map by keyboard. Planned remediation: add keyboard arrow-key pan + zoom controls.
  • Pipeline kanban drag:stage changes on desktop use mouse / touchpad drag-and-drop. Mobile and keyboard users have a per-card "Move to stage" menu that performs the same action without a drag (WCAG 2.5.7 alternative). Planned remediation: surface the same menu on desktop for parity.
  • Calendar grid:the month / week view shows event pills positioned by time. Screen-reader announcements are functional but verbose. Planned remediation: a dedicated list view (already available via the "List" tab) is the primary accessible path.
  • Operator-enabled math challenge on lead-capture forms (WCAG 2.2 SC 3.3.8, "Accessible Authentication"): when a workspace operator enables the optional math challenge on a public lead-capture form, the form asks the visitor to add two single-digit numbers. That step is a cognitive function test and does not provide an alternative path, so the form does not meet SC 3.3.8 AA while the toggle is on. The toggle is off by default and is opt-in per form, so the out-of-the-box configuration meets SC 3.3.8. Workspace operators should leave the challenge off unless spam pressure on a specific form requires it. We are evaluating an accessible alternative (a passkey or email-link confirmation step) for a future release.

This list is updated as we find or fix issues. If you encounter something not listed, please tell us.

Feedback and contact

If you find an accessibility barrier in Pinvale, or you have a suggestion for how we can improve, email support@pinvale.com with the subject line Accessibility. We aim to acknowledge within 3 business days and to provide a substantive response within 14 business days. If your report is time-sensitive (you are blocked from using a feature you need), include URGENT in the subject line.

Enforcement procedure

If we are unable to resolve your concern, you may escalate to the applicable enforcement body:

  • European Union: the supervisory authority for your member state under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
  • United Kingdom: the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
  • United States: the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division (for Title III complaints) or your state attorney general.

Assessment approach

Pinvale's accessibility posture is assessed by:

  • internal review against the WCAG 2.2 AA checklist on every significant UI change;
  • automated testing with axe-core and Lighthouse during build and release;
  • user feedback as the primary signal for issues automated tools miss.

We have not yet engaged a third-party accessibility auditor. When we do, that audit's findings will be reflected in the "Known limitations" section above. Next planned review: November 2026.

Compatibility

Pinvale is designed to work with the latest two versions of major evergreen browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and the latest two major releases of NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver screen readers. Compatibility with older browsers or assistive technologies is not guaranteed.

Statement prepared in line with the European Accessibility Act model accessibility statement and the U.S. ICT Final Standards and Guidelines under Section 508 (informational reference; Pinvale is not a Federal agency).
